Michael Faircloth

Our in-house couture designer, Michael Faircloth, has been working in the fashion industry for more than 20 years, since he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in fashion design from the University of North Texas in 1983.

In 2002, Michael participated in the New York Fashion Week and presented his first ready-to-wear collection in the Studio at Bryant Park. In 2003, he received the Distinguished Alumni Award, the UNT's most prestigious alimni award.

Recently, UNT's Texas Fashion Collection exhibited "Reflections: Work by Michael Faircloth", which included more than 20 of his creations, including evening gowns, dresses, suits, wedding attire, and debutante gowns that Michael desugned for many notable Dallas women. The exhibit included dresses designed by Michael for notable Dallas women, like a green beaded silk evening gown created for the inauguration of the first female president of UNT Gretchen Bataille.

Below are several pictures from the exhibit.
